Mikey is been out of business for a long time. For a reason. They were junk.
If you want a five speed cal Berg and get ready for sticker shock. |

| Pay for quality. Buy the best and cry once. My buddy has a Berg 5 set up in his '73, works great. Gotta pay to play! |

I don't want a Berg 5 setup. I have a '58 Single Cab with reduction boxes and I am not removing the boxes as I still carry lots of weight. I was looking for someone to help me out in making a tranny that will allow me to do this but also go down the freeway at 70 and not be at 4500 rpm. The word locally meant that I live in Portland, OR and not southern Cali. I want someone around here and I was told that Mikey still built trannies and lives like 2 blocks from a friends place but he does not have his #. Many people that I know have said they have had trannies built by him and they work great and I know they are not lying. This is why I asked. So if you don't have the #, please don't tell me to by a Berg as that is not local to me.
Thank you. |
