Go door to door and ask neighbors if they saw any unfamilar cars/people at that time?
Bummer! |

| Don't count on the cops finding it! Tell all the VW people and wrecking yards etc. to watch for it. I don't have full coverage on my VW's, but it's nice when something happens! Should post flyers w/picture everywhere! :x |

Definitely don't depend on the police finding it, though it helps if you keep hounding them. My brother once reported that his car was stolen. By the time he had even noticed it missing it had already been abandoned in a no parking location and towed to a police impoundment lot. The car wasn't "found" until months later when they sent him a notice that it was going to be either sold or crushed.
Bummer for you, hope you can find the culprits. |

| Longshot, but maybe the police should print the glass--maybe these guys are pros and can get caught? But this isn't "CSI" so they won't bother. |

I guess they were pissed when it wouldn't start for them so they had to do a little vandalizing. They probably pushed it a block before trying to start it so you wouldn't hear it fire up. Hopefully they didn't mess up your wiring trying to hot wire it.
Glad you got it back quickly, hopefully without any hidden damage. |

| well, if you use a razorblade, most of the graffiti will come off. just glad you didn't get kicked in panels or broken glass! |

| well i have to say i think it may be my own fault in a sense, i left a red bandana on my dash that i got from some party i was at, maybe they thought i was "representin' " so they had to "teach me a lesson" thankfully there was no real damage, just went through my things, they didnt break any glass or rip out the ignition column |

| I suppose you could use a razorblade to scrape the bulk of the paint off, but also, friend showed me one can use the very finest steel wool to clean windows. He said that's what they used to clean overspray off of glass at a bodyshop he worked at. |

a little late, but if your still here, the easiest way to get off spray paint is to use that paint stripper from home depot that comes in a rectangular can. It is red. It costs like $5- $8, but its well worth it.
It looks like this, but the one i got was in a metal rectangular can.
Just put some on the end on a paint brush, then work it on the paint and it will come right off. It worked for me. It will only take a few seconds to remove. just don't get any on the body, but if you do, its no biggy, just spray it off with a water hose. A razor blade will leave scratches, so thats why i use paint stripper.
Also don't use that off brand shit that comes in a bottle. It doesn't do shit. |
