Hey guys I just bought a 85 Jetta GLi last week. It runs and is in great shape except for two things.

The headliner in falling down,
And the Yesturday when it rained a lot the interior of my car got wet. I am quite sure the water is coming in from the sunroof.

Can the sunroof seals be replaced?
Where could i get them?
Are there headliner kits availible anywhere also?

Thanks ahead of time for any help!

Rob

Unfortunately, you are on your own as far as the headliner goes

A new sunroof seal might do wonders for you and your A2, however:

These cars leak because the sunroof drains get clogged.
Open the sunroof, and you'll see the drains, and you can clear them.
Also if you have water pooling in the rear footwells,
then you need to pull the rear door panels and replace the inner plastic sheets, and clear the door drains too.

My '85 GTI leaks around the windsheild due to rust, so look for that too. It'll take out your relays under the dash.
