Could anyone please direct me to where I could buy a new Manx body? Just the shell of a "classic Manx" not the one that fits on a standard bug chassis. |

I have a new manx body, just like the original meyers manx. Good quality, hand laid fiberglass. Call 214 405 5155. Can get delivered to several parts of the country, for small fee. Thanks |

now - what exactly are you looking for? a manx-like body? or an actual (NOS) manx body? big difference to some people. |

Below is a classified ad for a new unbuilt "Classic Manx" kit. Bruce Meyers built 100 new Classic Meyers Manxs in back in 2000. They were identical to the original Meyers Manx in design and quality, with a few updates. They were also called "Signature Manxs", because his signature in stainless steel was included with them. They quickly sold out. However, word is Bruce is now designing a new SWB Manx type buggy with even more upgrades.

This is the old announcement that was put out in 2000 when the 100 Classic Manxs were sold. Again, they sold out back in 2000.

There are rumors AGAIN of Meyers building a swb Manx/Manxter type buggy. I guess we'll wait and see. |

I believe j10nbom is referring to the Manx's (1&2) being built in France and England, and I was understanding that the one that Meyers is coming out with is a shortened Manxter. Many clones still being built around the country just not as thick as a Manx. And if I'm mistaken on this I'm sure I'll be bashed shortly. |

Bruce is indeed working on a short wheelbase car, it will also incorporate an opening hood, like "Old Red!" :D :D :D |
