this is a great post.
f.y.i if you find stuff like this dispose of it do not get the police involved. we had to repo a company car from a employee after he was terminated for drugs. seeing as we take trips across the border regularly on business we decided to ask the local police to run a dog over it to ensure it was clean. once we got to the police station we were informend if anything was found we and the car would be held untill we could see a judge/magistrate as we would be in posession of drugs. the dog found nothing but residue which wasn't true possesion and let us on our way.
all said we could have gone to jail even if just for the day for trying to do the right thing also the car could have been seized as the law on that is real specific and auction proceeds help struggling police budgets.
some of this really makes you think. i have bought a ton of old cars and found roaches in the ashtray. how many buses are out there rolling around with a long lost bag dropped behind the nose or a joint slipped in the fresh air vent. looking at a slammed patina whored roller is the cop/dog combo that finds this long lost schwag going to be receptive to the classic "its not mine" |

Actually, it's all over the place. I've seen links from Mountain Bike sites, Lamborghini sites, etc, etc. Just look at the number of thread views - closing in on 10,000! Every time I hit refresh, the view count goes up by 20! |

I think the floorboards of my bus are... rusting... yeah, that's it... and maybe she needs a little exploratory restoration, just in case...
You'd think that 14 pounds wouldn't be so easily forgotten!
Thanks for sharing the pics!

I drove my Bus into Baja a few years ago. At every check point the guard would look into my eyes and ask, "Mota?" I learned quickly what it meant and to not smile, laugh, try and joke, etc.
They must still be teaching these guys what great "Mota Haulers" Busses are.
Great post, glad it had a happy ending! |
