Hey, I've been trying to figure out what the center caps to Superior Turtlebacks look like. Do I already have on mine or am I mistaken by what I found in another post?
Thanks ahead of time!

Nice. What material are you casting those in & how does it take to vacuum chroming? |

| Oh so tempting, but I'm waffling back & forth between my Turtlebacks (especially if I could find a pair of 5.5" ones) and the repopped Gas Burners. The 'burners look really good, but the 'backs are one of the few wheels out there not being reissued or copied. Nice to see that they're much more accepted than when I originally had a set on my Square. |

| Oh, I know that so well. I'm still trying to come up with a pic of my car from back in the day. I had a set of the 'backs on it and personally loved them. They were unique at the time, as nobody was running them. In black & raw, they really suited my car. I still kick myself for swapping them out. Glad I've managed to piece a set of NOS ones together over the years. Just missing two nice caps or one decent one to make them complete. I'd really like to run a 5.5" on the back though. Trying to avoid the stretched-on look from running 195's. |

why not a set of og baby gas burners? i've got probably 8-10hrs in polishing and paint detailing mine myself. cheaper than repops. better offset and a touch lighter to.
though i am trying to gather up a set of Turtlebacks for my swap out wheels. just to change around every now and then. but of course when i do gather a set i'm gonna full polish them. no denying full polished turtlebacks look killer....ken....

The short & sweet reason; note the 'infrastructure' present on the car. 'Burners = utilizing the old brakes - 'Backs or Baby burners = new rotors, hubs & drums. Not necessarily a bad thing, given how long the car's been sitting, but hard to tell w/o inspection. |

| i forgot you car was already set up for porsche pattern. if i already had prosche pattern i'd use it to. only i think i'd get the Chrome Flat4 4.5"Fuchs that are about the same $$$ as the repop gas burners. either will look killer on that square. or you could sell the porsche pattern brakes for good money.get stock brake stuff. have the turtleback full polished. and probably still SAVE money. i'd be willing to bet you could probably sell the porsche pattern stuff for enough to buy the replacement stuff. tuff choice as ALL of those wheels would look good. hell i've only had the baby burners on my square for a coupla months and i'm already thinking on something different hahaha...ken.... |

I might even be interested in a set myself. Thinking about chroming a set so I can finally (almost) complete my set of wheels. |
