The whole fixture unscrews from the door. You will need to use a wrench on the lock nut to break it loose and then rotate the entire mirror counterclockwise. The whole thing is very likely seized up pretty well, Liquid Wrench or another penetrant of your choice will help.

| Assuming that it is just a stock mirror it should unscrew from the outside. |
