Got my stainless steel lined front wheel cylinders in the mail today so I goy busy.
With rebuild kits in place
Passenger side
Drivers side
I also found that I need 4 more brake line clips and the special bolt head screw that holds them in place. Anyone want to give them up for a good cause? 8) |

I also got my shifter "M" spring in the mail and thought I would put it to good use. Jon (hazetguy) made these fantastic reproduction springs.
Shifter installed
Some very subtle bling for the driver

I can send you this hardware if you want. Do you want the bolts with or without the "K" on the head? Do you want all four brackets to hold 1 piece of pipe or do you need an elongated one to hold two pipes (for the left front pipe)? |

Thanks Greg,
I need 4 single pipe clips and screws without the "k" please. I have the double wide clip in place near the master cylinder but I seem to have mis-placed some of the clips and screws in the time the bus has been apart.

Probably the mark of the maker (i.e. Kamax, Dorn or others).
Functionally it is just a screw. |

Pulled the bus out today, cleaned it and put it in storage for the winter.
I know some of you guys might not be able to fathom this, but it gets down to -25f degrees here in Chicago and my garage is not heated.
Bus is stored in a "Car Jacket" which is a fully enclosed zippered bag.
The air inside the cover is kept dry by several large dessicant packs.
Supposedly you are supposed to be able to remove the car in the spring without any tarnish to the chrome or aluminum trim.
I will let you know how it works in April. |

Neil,
You are the most patient person I have ever seen. Looking forward to seeing pics of you driving the 15W in 2010. |
