I recently noticed oill being blown back up thru the filler neck .....consequently the breather tube goes to the carb....I want to know why pressure is being sent back up thru the filler neck !!

did this engine ever NOT do this?
any changes or mods as of late?
alt-stand baffle in correctly?
big motor or stock, additional venting elsewhere? |

There is always some pressure at that hose. It is part of the crankcase ventilation system. However if it is excessiveyou probably have worn rings. Larger motors tend to have more blowby expecially when they are new. But if there is oil spraying out of the crank pully you have too much back pressure.
