Just picked up this 69 Ghia.
Right now I am just getting it running and driving. Soon I will build a beam, lower it, stick some wheels on it, and get a straight door for it.
Ive already put another good used transmission in it, because it was broken when I bought it. The motor runs great, and all the electrical works, even the stock radio! I think I have even tracked down a chrome blue door to replace the Vagina door on there. After putting on the new door and hammering out that fender, it shouldnt look so bad. The car is completely rust free, unmolested, and unrestored. not bad for $900.
I'll post up more pictures as I get more done on it. |

| What happened to the low light Thomas? Are you going to paint it the stock color? Glad to see you back on the horse. Watch out for Venison, or is there a story on the door? |

The lowlight is on long-term project status. it's in storage while i collect up the necessary parts. I just got this one to have some fun, and drive daily, until i can really get down on the lowlight.
the PO told me that the car was sideswiped on the freeway, and thats how the door got dented. If I hit another deer with a Ghia, I will go out and buy a big ass rifle and become a deer hunter. I'll be out there every weekend, capping deer left and right, while laughing hysterically. |

Looks like an awesome project Thomas. I'm jealous of you southwest guys and your 900 buck rust free cars.
To bad the JC Whitney side trim got wrecked. |

That door and fender are SO repairable !! Nice pickup !!
