Flipped down the jump seat, pulled up the table, kicked my feet up and chowed down. Couldn't ask for a nicer day.

First night camping (somewhere other than outside my buddies garage when working on it) after nine months of ownership.

Broke down on my lunch break, Called AAA, towed it back to my shop, (next door to my office). And wasn't even late getting back to work from lunch...

Very spring-like today, so took "Rosie" down to a nearby lake and had an awesome hike...

Very spring like here in South Eastern CT also. Only
problem is the roads are still covered with tons of
salt from all the snow a nor'easter dumped the other
day. Your picture was very inspirational that the end
is in site though!!

Pulled over by the Westy Inspector who proceeded to turn the man-van into the Princess Castle...again.

Took five 4th grade Girl Scouts to a zip-line place twenty miles away at rush hour while the Disney channel blared on my XM. The trip took just over an hour. I was told later that they had more fun riding in the Vanagon than they did at the zip line place...

Now I'm having a beer and trying to get Taylor Swift out of my head. A soccer mom, er, dad's work is never done...

My usually reliable diesel had it's brakes shit the bed a few weeks ago while transiting the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, so the van got assigned to daily driver operation and it reliably got me to school, work, home and back while I waited for my new brake parts to arrive. I finished installing the new braking gear tonight so now the van can be returned to it's normal freeway driving routine rather than the stop and go stuff around town that I normally use my diesel for.

My parents needed to move some furniture to get them recovered and I like my Vanagon more than their Travelall and was rather confident I could do it all in one load. I ended up pulling the mattress pad both jump seats and the passengers seat to fit it all in but I ended up getting a chair, a love seat, 2 couches plus all the cushions for all of them into one load in one van.

When on first trip to Walker Valley ORV with my hitch mounted motorcycle carrier on back. Went well, was windy on I-5 though. Which blew me around a bit with the light front end.

Also as I was getting on from rest stop in smokey point, I saw a vanagon come up behind me-but it got off at the Darrington [530] exit

Raising a pint to that sentiment!

AJ - good to see you about in a van.

Van filled with bags of foam packaging and clamshells - off to the recycle drop off. This stuff is great sound insulation. Van very quiet.

In case anyone was wondering, an APC NetShelter CX
full height 38U soundproof server enclosure fits in the back of a vanagon.

I bought this '92 Weekender specifically for a mobile office. I have a Hotspot that I can hook up 5 devices too and so I can have meetings, focus, get creative all on the ocean.
