So yesterday I'm pulled over in the Rat Rod VDubster with my head stuck in the engine compartment playing with the throttle linkage. I hear tires crunching on the snow so I pull my head out to see a new black Lincoln. The window comes down and a guy in a fancy suit asks if I need any help. He tells me that he owned a pile of air cooled vw's and he would be happy to give me a hand. :)

I turned the man down and he reminisced for a bit and then ask if I wasn't sure about the help. I told him it was alright but thanks for stopping. If I'd had my camera with me I just might have taken him up on it as it would have made a great pic. A 50 year man in a $3000 suit with his head in a strangers greasy old VW bus.

I bought the VDubster as promotional vehicle for my businesses and so far it is turning out to be a great choice. Everywhere I go I'm getting thumbs up, people yelling various acolades, strangers coming up to me everytime I park anywhere and 100's of huge grin's every single day. Adding the Christmas wreath certainly hasn't taken anything away from the reactions :)

I love these stories. I've made some really good friends this very way. Peace!

You'll see alot of people pointing their cells phones at you aswell since they put camaras in them. It's funny when you see them and they pretend to be talking on the phone and then catch them out of the corner of my eye trying to get a good pic.

If a guy in a fancy car with suit to match wanted to lend a hand on the side of the road to my broken down bus. I would welcome the help.
