| As I was falling asleep last night, a question came in my head: how is the engine/tranny mounted to the pan/body of the Porsche 914? I searched the gallery, and the forums to not avail. See, what I am wondering is on a Volkswagen, the suspension is bolted/welded to the pan. Then the engine is mounted onto the tranny. So, with the mid engine, the engine is first, thus the quandary. Thank you for you answers in advance. :) |

2 bolts on the engine bar and 2 bolts on the tranny ear mounts.
There is no pan as the 914 is unibody so its rather hard to fix rust. |

914 question..
does a later model 914 tach need a special sender, or does it pull the pulse from the coil? |
