OOOH greg I cant wait to see it. After its slammed you might be able to pull it into the garage
What wheel set up are you gonna run? Also, you need to post some pics of the Slam-o-Matic single!

ssssssssssssssssshhh!!

That's the plan. I want to get it in the garage. I got the Camper down so I could get it in there, the Slam-O-Matic makes it in with the canopy on it, so I figure the Highroof should be a walk in the park...

Right now I'll be running small 5 lug (5 x 112) BRM's with 195/45/15's on the front and 195/50/15's on the rear. I know the wheels are played out  but I want to have parts I sell on the Highroof since it'll be my swap meet Bus.

What do you want to see? I can post more pictures anytime.

you've done a great job! 8)

Here's an UPDATE.....

Narrowed beam adjusters, dropped spindles, modified straightaxle kit, 4 wheel disc brakes, small 5 lug BRM's with billet caps.

All parts and services available from Vintage Warehouse!!

As you can see from the pictures, we're still working on the inside paint and upholstery. Pictures of that will come later.

For now, I'm sure the garage won't be a problem.

Maybe, I'm still doing the interior, and working on the motor, I don't feel like rushing again this year, so it may not come out until BOR

Those paintball stickers used to be a big hit here in Holland.
Nowadays you don't want to be seen with one

Iff you really like one for your bus I could try and find you one but I think it would mess up a perfect bus!

Personaly I would mount the small round mirrors instead of those huge elephant ears. (there a [-X )

The paintball sticker thing is a joke. I don't want one.........

As for thr mirrors, small round ones don't cut it if you want to use them, especially over here where I'm on the wrong side of the road. The original mirror for the passenger side is goofing looking, but works great, every Swiss Post Bus I've seen (all 3 of them) has it, but I don't like the looks. The Elephant ears were a quick choice so I could drive, but they are crappy repro's and don't work for a damn either. So I'm going to be running these mirrors instead........

Which I also sell (shameless plug)

Greg, what are the origins of those mirrors anyway. They're neat mirrors!

-Taylor

volksfahrer.nl Wed Feb 25, 2004 11:36 am

I had those mirrors on my bus when I got them!
They where a standard for emergency buses.

I gave mine to a "made man".

This is how my bus looked when I got it.
It's in resto now.

Greg, That thing is BAD ASS....
