damn, that looks like a really nice car. Doesn't it suck to sell a car you don't want to sell, just for money? At the time, it didn't really hit me as to how much it sucked, because I was just doing what I had to do, so why cry about it. But now that it's years later, I really miss the fuckin car!

This is the one I miss the most. Lots of fun to drive.

No more watercooled for me though.

i don't think I miss my Corrado lol. I loved and Hated that car!

I miss this:

It had a crazy story, to sum it up: left at a bar for collateral on a loan, guy buys bar uses parking lot as foundation for adjacent restaurant, brick masons brick in car, sits in restaurant from 72-95, takes out wall to get car out, restores car, improper 12v conversion so never runs, sits for 8 years, i buy it. Most rust free Bug I'll ever see. :(

What happened to this one? Seems like a keeper, especially since your still into them...

I sold it to some woman. I tried to buy it back off of her recently but she's out of her mind. Wants like $6k for it. Problem with it was it was a cheap resto. Though he did have the whole underside of the car orange peeled, the rest was crap. 67 style door panels and seats. The accessory pieces were painted at a different time or something cause they didn't match and the car was originally red, you could see some red where the paint was sprayed thick enough behind the vents below the rear window. more pics and pchops of what it would have looked like if I had finished it.

The one I should have never sold, even though my favorite years are 61 & 62. My '63 Impala Vert when I graduated high school in '93.

Worst part is I don't even have a pic of it. But mine would be a '79 Trans Am with a 403, 10th anniversary blue w/ t-tops. Man was that car fast.

Were you on hoodride? I think I remember seeing that car on there.

Before I sold her I had those wheels powder coated black, 75 shot of NOS, beefy cam, clutch, chip, intake, exhaust...so much work. I really miss this one. I sold it and bought a 4dr Tahoe because I was moving to a new house and wanted something I could pack more stuff in. Dumb.

This was my 2004 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro Tiptronic with the sport package and bose package. I lucked into it when the original buyer traded it after only two months. He bought it for his wife who didn't like it (  ) so he ended up driving it and wanted a manual trans. So he brought it back to the dealer with only 1200 miles. I got it cheaper than the '03s they had with 8000 miles, and it had more equipment.

Also miss my '98 GTI VR6 but I can't find a photo right now. That was a fun damn car!

let me try again:

MURZI Tue Aug 12, 2008 6:58 pm

Built it over four years...bad ass 2276, and no expense spared. My wife hated it. I traded it for my vert. Saving my money for the "one day" when I can buy it back. I have built many ground up cars, but this was going to be mine forever. Sometimes we are fools......

Yeah man! I was on there from early on, but I kinda kept away towards the end. And then it all went to shit.

I think I remember seeing you on there too. That was a fun site. it's too bad it turned into such a fucking joke.

My 90 Trooper

had it from 96 to 06
rugged as hell and turned out beautiful when I painted it.
A guy from Georgia offered me $4000.00 and I couldnt turn it down as I had run out of things to do to it.
should have sent him on his way..........

Those Troopers are nice^^^^

I still wish I had my 87 Ford Escort GT. I did this in the late 80's before all of the current rice rocket scene when it was just cool to have an awesome paint job, be low as hell and roll on chrome rims (15 inch) with 195/50/15s.

And before you ask, No they are not hub caps! They were made by a company called WEDS and were quite popular back in the day before they made those awful hub cap repops.
