I'm getting tired of these 8 spokes, any suggestions on a good looking 4 lug wheel? I'm thinking of one of the following:
Sprintstars
4 spoke porsche
4 lug Mahle Gasburners
Centerlines
4 lug slotted dish (like the Ansen)

I'm trying to stick with something I can get new, but if I do buy something that is not available new I like the 4 lug pedrini wheels too
there are just too many choices, it's hard to be satisfied with one! |

As far as I know, no one repops cosmics. And they are a bit pricey.
As you've mentioned the Mahle Baby Burners look good, are light weight, but are getting rare and pricey.
The Pedrinis are nice too.
And of course the 4 lug FUCH. If you wanna go forged.

That Mahle Babyburner looks a lot like the pedrinis, are those baby burners different than the repro gas burners now available?
I like the 4 lug fuchs, but I'm leaning towards the gasburners because you just don't see a lot of them around |

I agree with you there.
To many decisions, could always buy a set of drums from cip1 with the 4-100 bolt pattern and go with a rim from that area. |

They're made my Mahle and real! :D Does that count? Aren't the repops just 4 lug versions of the 5 lug gas burner? Or are they repopping the the baby gas burners now. If so, I'm pissed.
But all in all, I think all of the 914 wheels are great. Pedrinis would be the cheapest. I want some Fuchs but I love my Baby Burners. |

I like the 914 stuff too...but I'll have to settle for repros if I go that route
personnaly the gas burners are my favorite of the 914 wheels |

Hell yeah. I love mine. But it feels good to say that You own real Mahles (Even if they aren't 5 lugs). By the way are your 8 spokes repops? |

| yes, the 8 spokes are repros and they have plenty of curb rash |

| Just wondering, how much are you willing to spend? If you shop around enough you might could find a good deal on the real deal without having to resort to cheaply made repops. |

I'm most likely going to have to pay full retail price for any of the repros unless a shop has an inventory overage they are trying to get rid of.
Most of the repro wheels I listed are around $150 each except for the centerlines, they are a bit more expensive (but real)
then you need tires, lug nuts, center caps... |

All of the above mentioned 914 wheels should cost lest than a set of Centerlines. But from the way your bug looks, Centerlines might be the way to go. As far as drag bugs go, Centerlines are the best.
Edit Baby Buner and Pedrini with the classic gas burner paint scheme.
Common these things look great and they're not knockoffs. |
