My Manx 2 has a single master cylinder. You all have said in many of these forums that a dual cylinder is best and I agree and understand why. So what master cylinder/reservoir works best? I've seen several pics of ones with the reservoir setting directly on top of the cylinder. I like that one. Is it the German unit? Where's the best place to aquire one?
Thanks, all.

That thread is about reservoirs.
Not sure what is the best source for the master cylinder, I suppose most just purchase a new one. 1971 & up disc brake bus cylinders are supposed to fit (see http://www.type2.com/library/brakes/dualmas.htm and/or http://www.karmann-ghias.ca/Dual Master Cylinder.htm).
I found one that I think will work on a Rabbit with manual brakes....bit of a surprise, I thought all Rabbits had a power booster since they all had disc brakes. It even came with a reservoir. Haven't put it on yet , 'cause I will need some different brake lines also.

Thanks, guys. I'll check this stuff out. Got a couple of really good VW shops here. They may have some good info and parts.
