Also, is there any way to add a link to a person's profile in the new chat like how it was in the old chat? I know it may be a bit trickier since when you click on a person's name, it sends them a private message. The profile option was something a lot of us used. In the new chat, if someone is a hidden user, it takes a bit of searching to find their profile.
By the way, thanks for taking suggestions into consideration. I'm glad you are willing to attempt to fix and improve things. Thanks! |

The profile links will be in the next version according to the chat author so I don't want to mess with it.
On the partial links, I saw that once too. When it happens, get the exact link that failed and post it here. When I saw it happen before, it was because someone tried to use the url command and messed it up, meaning they did:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/Mrpug/Snapshot.jpg
instead of
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/Mrpug/Snapshot.jpg
or just plain
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/Mrpug/Snapshot.jpg
I prefer to not use the url command at all. |

what happened in this instance was that Mr.Breeze posted the original link in the chat page; I copied and pasted it from his original post. |

That may have cut and pasted some special characters which messed up the link. |

possibly; I cut and pasted the link twice and it was the identical glitch; Glenn was able to replicate it as well... |

I sent it in a PM to myself and got the same glitch. I also then tried using the URL button in a PM and it still would not work. |

I confirmed that if you select the link with the mouse and cut and paste it, there are some hidden characters in there that mess up the link.
It works if you right click on the link on and do "Copy link location" or whatever similar command is in your browser. |

Excellent. Does the chat author give any mention as to when the next version will be available? |

| Some AOL users have reported chat won't work if they are using the AOL browser. Try using IE or another browser with AOL, not inside the AOL windows. The AOL browser is not a "real" browser. |

Yaaay for new options! The sound thing is kind of weird, but at least you can turn it off. Thanks for the profile link!
*Edit* Can we change the whispers thing to PM again please?
*Edit #2* Can we also make it show up when someone gets kicked again please? |

| Seems to be working OK in FireFox, but a couple times it just randomly closed (no I was not kicked), clearing the cache seems to help. |
