This has to be the wackiest thread I have ever seen. How is this going to help "everyone?"
The code to my '02 Cabrio radio (which I replaced with an upgrade) will be the same regardless if I then put it in my '97 Jetta or some other car. And it is not going to be the same as someone else's '02 Cabrio ... so ...
The only person I see being "helped" by posting is a potential thief.
Is that why you have only two posts, the two above mine? |

Careful, WM, you'll be accused of ranting and raving. 8)
And GG77, you calling me simple-minded after you asked the most stupid question I have ever seen in six years at different sites is doubly funny. If a person already knows their code, posting it here is meaningless. If they don't know their code, a million responses to your stupid-beyond-belief question won't help. Pay $50 to find out yours and tattoo it to your forearm. |

| You might as well type 0001 to 9999 in a list, because that is every radio code out there. There is a serial number that starts with VWZ.......... on the radio, and that along with a car's vin is what's needed to get the code. I'll beat the dealer pricing and do it for $20! Seriously, listing every possible code is meaningless. After all if you enter the wrong code twice, you'll have to leave the radio powered up for an hour for it to unlock and accept another attempt. |
