Here's a T34 submission ...

I created a 2008 calendar (12-month) for the T34 crowd and I was able to everything online (design, upload images, captions, colors, etc). The calendars went for $30 each with a limited quantity (no minimum order). Professionally printed, round wire bound, with holes for hanging too. Whomever is going to do a T3 calendar, PM me for details if you're interested.

Shall the pic choices be a democratic process or a dictated process? :)

(uh oh, I dare to think of the can of worms I just opened, how about whoever does the footwork and puts up the printing money gets to pick?)

OK, I'm going to do it... the calendars are going to cost about $25-$30 to get printed unless I were to print 1000 of them. They will include 13 different photos, one for each month and the cover. Please send me your highest resolution photos of a "Good" photo and make sure that the picture is Copyright free, in otherwords, you took the picture. We need to act now considering that we are already in January. Since it would be nearly impossible to vote on the pictures that make the Calendar, I will post some of the pictures for some user input. Please send pictures with favorable scenery... not from your driveway. We will just make one Calendar which will include all the different Type-3s, Stock and Custom. So go out with your type-3 and find that Ansel Adams location and snap some cool photos. I will also post the Owner's Name, Location, Model and Year of the car.

Send them to me at bob@vw1500.com or Jason at notchboy@vw1500.com.

Does anyone know of any all Type-3 Calendar ever being made in the past?

Check out LuLu.com. I was able to put together a 12 month calendar of my VW 'toons and offer it for $15. Granted I am only making approx. $2 on each one. The calendars are printed as they are order. There is no minimum to buy. They are a very nice quality...I only got the standard paper version...not the upspec one. I think we would have a lot more takers at $15 than at $30.

You can see the one I did at:

Just another option.

Excelent shot charlie.

So we are definatly serious about the calander. We have several nice shots so far. If you want to be considered to be included plese get that camera out, take the car for a spin and show us what you got. Stock or custom-early and late. Everyone is welcome on this one.

This road has a special place in most Angelenos' hearts. This is the road I always took to my grandparents as a kid and loved that exact part of it. It was always the 'officially leaving the city' road. Then of course you have the gorgeous drive up PCH to look forward to.

Thanks for posting that.

Is it only me, or does anyone else see that Notchboy has the flair for the "shot"? Did you take those pictures on your own? Looks to me like you got a little Ansel Adams rolled up in that meat-head of yours! Nice shots there Jason!

Nice pics. 8) Very motivating. I've got a buddy who's a very good amateur photographer with top notch (pun intended) equipment. He's promised to do my car...just need the weather to cooperate. In other words, he should be able to do it in July.
