View original topic: She rolls for the first time in months

Finally drove her for the first time today. It has been months. Noticed rear fenders need to be about 2inches wider. Anyone know where one can get good fiberglass ones that are wider?
I thinks she looks good for my first steps towards this German Look thing. I have many other ideas that I will be adding as the months go on
I lowered the rear one notch I like the stance so wider fenders are a must. Help me out.

I like the look, but like most people will wonder, how much does the front rub?

the best quality fiberglass fenders I have ever dealt with came from Creative Car Craft. They fit like stock, and are strong as hell. As far as I am concerned, they are the best on the market.

But have you considered getting another set of front wheels to use in the rear? If you used a narrower front wheel on the rear, you may not have to get fiberglass fenders, which will save you money when it comes time to get the fenders painted to match the rest of the car. Perhaps a thinner tire could help as well?

Badass looking car, man! I love stock looking bugs with modern Porsche wheels.

are you using adapters or are the rotors redrilled?
it looks like you have adapters.
redrill the drums and rotors and you'll gain some room.

Front clears all the around with all the steps that TopLine had me do and all there parts used the clearance was perfect.

No adapters were used. Brand new porsche drilled drum and rotors. Spacers were used to get the clearance.
I like the wider fender look, so the issue with buying fenders is not all that troublesome to me.

You can see in this picture the clearence on the rear. Before I drove it it had around 1.5 inches of clearence.
My question to you is this: when one lowers the rear ( I raised the rear torsion one notch) and drive it or move it for the first time after this work has been done will it lower even more.

I say all that to say this. When I did all the work on the car and put the wheels on there it had to much space (3 inches) between the tire and the fender. Should I have drove the car before lowering the rear? Can different shocks fix this?
