Hi everybody and happy new year 2008 :lol:
am glad to find this forum for our typical 411 VW.
As the tittle I try to boost the power of my 411,I just have bought a SCAT C20 430x278 camshaft,two cylinder heads with 39x33valves,and a horizontal twin carbs (solex 40DDH) and I don't know what else to buy to complete it.
I would like to precise that the car works good with it's original configuration but it just needs to be boosted a litte.
So what else can be brought back from the original engine :roll:

Those items sound fine. I'd also throw in a good flowing exhaust, as that is the one key component for getting power from a Type 4 engine, along with the camshaft.
The one change I would have gone with would be a camshaft kit from the Type 4 Store ( http://www.type4store.com/ ). Aftermarket camshafts are notorious for going bad if they aren't precisely matched to lifters. Scat's track record isn't the best.
