under light, or heavy load the bus will buck. points are recent, it almost feels as if the ignition completely cuts out for a second. any typical problems, grounds, maf, ignition,fuel,etc...?????
help thanks

Sounds like the cylinder temp sensor at #3. It is either loose, bad, or has corroded threads. Get a 13mm wrench and loosen then retighten it. If it does not fix it, replace the sensor.

That is a good place to start... even thogh you say the points are recent, what about the condenser? while I've seldom seen them fail entirely(okay a few dozen times...)the first sign of one about to fail is "breakdown" under load, I'd go for that next after the previous tip. It doesn't still have one of those rev limiting rotors that some later buses have on them does it? If it does put a regular one on there and see what that does, check the cap for cracks, carbon tracking and the condition of your wires ect..... you know the obvious primary ignition circuit stuff....

Oh and since you said it felt like the ignition was cutting out that's the pointers your getting, elminate that and start thinking about the fuel filter, fuel pump pressure ect. next.. oh and maybe the "white" ground wires that hook onto the block under the intake manifold area, kinda hard to see but their there...
