They came in a four lug Ford pattern so you could easily have your VW drums/rotors re-drilled to match. They wouldn't be exactly the same, but would certainly look that part if a side-by-side comparison could be avoided. Even without the additional holes, the earlier Weld Wheels have enough holes and personality and almost an "aircraft-like" look to them to work well on the 356 Porsches. I had my Ghia rotors re-drilled to fit these same early Ford pattern wheels and it was cheap and easy. The wheels use a long shank/collar lug bolt and hold the wheel in place just great.
