O kay in a past thread I read that 80's vanagon middle sliding windows would not fit on a 78 bus. But I thought I had heard they would fit the 70's buses. Has anyone ever put a 85 vanagon sliding window on a 78 bus, or any years close to that? My bus used to be a american conversion camper bus and it has side sliding windows, but the frames of the windows stick out more than the other windows on the bus and I want the correct style sliding widow in there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James,
Is your bus a panel conversion to a camper?
Which camper company? If your bus was a panel that would explain the different style window slider. Vanagon side windows are much
bigger(Taller) than bay windows. |

Vanagon windows will NOT fit.
You need 78/79 bus windows.
They were sliders.
68-79 Westies had jalousie windows. |

Thanks Guys, was not sure, but now I know. I have a ASI camper conversion. Looks like it was a reagular 78 transporter that was converted to a camper. It wasn't a panel to begin with.
