the seats in my 72 westy are shot. i know i could recover them, but was hoping to find another set of seats that go in easily and are more supportive and comfortable. any help here would be great. thanks all.

I've just put a pair of Very Comfy and Very nice Reccarros form a scrapped Golf/Scirrocco no to sure which, basically you get hold of some seat runners of a Metro(Do you guys have metro's?) the top of the runners get welded to the bottom of the seats, and the bottom bit of the runners get bolted to the seatbox/floor, and then they fit no probs, I reckon you could fit just about any seat with a little modification, I've seen a few bays with Heated Merc seats, wired up to give that extra cosy winters feeling.
