So ... the conclusion is that my friend's February 1952 DeLuxe uses a clock which is exactly like a Split Window Beetle clock?

Does anyone have a picture of an original early 1953 (black face) Barndoor deluxe pod clock winder knob? I'm working on a little something. I tried searching the gallery but I didn't find anything.
