what is the green light between my steering column and the drivers side door? it's not a switch - it's a light.

it's a73 high roof, used to be german mail truck. then converted to camper. where would i find this alleged supercharger? . pretty sure i don't have it.

The Super Charger should be up front on the right side of your radiator. You have to pull your water pump off to get to it, and since you are right there you might as well put a new thermostat in for good measure.

Dude I'm joking and so was Luckys420, You don't have a super charger. And like Lucky said its probobly a aftermarket light that the previous owner used for something.

I had one of those super chargers on my '71.

When it was switched on, I could sometimes go as fast as 65 in fourth gear. Scary.
I disconnected it when the speeding tickets became a problem.

420. it went to nothing at all. the other day i was cleaning the wire mess (spaghetti system) when i rolled upon that. it had a female connector on it and was just stuffed in the dash. i then hooked it up to my fake alarm system(blinking red light and now green light) hooked up to a toggle. i thought that absolutely noone would F with a vehicle with lights on at night. ha ha i'll stop those bastards!

Be sure then to set your Super Charger to "auto self destruct" mode when the switch is activated, unless it of course recoginzes your thumbprint scan off the speedo glass, and the retinal scan off the rear view mirror. Hey if they want it... Take it..... they will be sorry when it explodes!!

I personnaly was just having some fun along with Wavepimp and 420, sounds like you had already solved the mystery and the other threads were too serious, too boring or too jakub to mess with!
I would hook it to a light inside your engine compartment for night time oil/belt checks..... seriously.... had one in my old westy years ago... it was useful.......
