I wanted to update you and let you know what's going on.
Yesterday I had Chemo and I feel pretty good today. Alot of my friends say I have never looked better. My energy level has gone up 10fold.
Thank God for that because my 7 month old son has started to crawl!

My wife Wendy and I have sold a couple of cars in the past few months.
The 62 Ghia that we bought in December sold to a nice man in Las Vegas.
We only owned the Ghia for a few months but it was bought as an investment anyway.
The other car I sold was my 91 Jetta GLI. It was my first new car. It was sold to a guy in Utah. The Jetta was parked since December when my son was born and we needed a bigger car. The Jetta served me well for over 17 years and 223K. I was a little sad to see it go.

Other then that I feel I can beat this Cancer. I feel good and look better.
Erich

Great news Erich..................... :D

Will we see you guys at Solvang?

Fantastic news. I check your thread most days to see what's going on. Really cool to see your energy up.

Friends,
My wife and I just got back from the Pebble Beach Concours. I have wanted for some time. It was amazing! There must have been a "zillion" dollars worth of cars there.
Thankfully I felt good enough to walk all day.
This week Wednesday I go in for Chemo. I have one more month of Chemo before I get a Pet CT scan to see how the tumor is doing.
Wish me luck that the dame thing is getting smaller.
Erich

Hope you're not thinking of getting into those "zillion dollar" cars. We'll need you in your VW in the Golden Gate VVWCA. Our hope is that you feel good enough in about a month to drive the Solvang Rallye..... or at least part of it. Keep thinking positive. Everyone of us is thinking the best.

While I don't normally hang out in the Split Window forum, I ran across this thread, and wanted to offer my support and prayers to you and your family. Have a positive attitude, and imagine the tumor being shrunk away bit by bit. I will keep checking back so I can read all the good and encouraging news that is coming your way \:D/

Erich,--- A true test of a mans ability to Live! ( To TRUELY Live) is his ability to overcome the adversities of life. I have (personally) overcome several life threatening situations of my own! Which in retrospect has given me a new found appreciation for Each and every day I have, and the ability to count my Blessings of the friends, family and loved ones ( especially my Wife and Kids) That I have been so very fortunate have in my life.

Fight it! Fight it! Fight it! Erich! As I am sure you are! My Families Thoughts and Prayers go out to you and your's---for a complete erratication and a full recovery from this adversity. God Bless= Eric (VMR)

I can't speak for Erich, but I will say it has been great to see him and Wendy and Karsten AND his new '48 out here at Solvang. He seems to be enjoying himself and it is great to have him and his family at this event.

We had a great time "splitting" to Solvang yesterday, will make the return cruise tomorrow......!!
