Erich,
Just learned of your situation.
I would like to say even though we have had some differences of opinion in the past concerning thread content and pics, I would like to extend my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery to you.
Wishing you strength in both mind and body to cope with this challenge.

I hope you are buzzing around in your wonderful Country Buggy again soon!

With respect and warm regards,

Erich,
if you can so successfully restore CB, you certainly can beat this problem....

Guys,
Nothing would make me more happier then taking the CB for a drive.
But that will have to wait until I am better.
I am doing well with the Chemo.
A little tired but nun the worse for ware.
Keep praying and sending good thoughts.

Were all there with you and the "family" Erich. Keep thinking the good thoughts and stay with that positive attitude. You've got a lot to get better for.

"25 horses... most of them running some of the time"

your sticker was the funniest sticker I have ever seen on a split.

Do they allow you to drink Guinness whilst embibing the Chemo?

couldn't hurt me thinks :-)

maybe you could dream up another sticker if the mood got good enough eh.

I'm happy to report that Guinness is quite enjoyable even when you're not on chemo(!).

Have you decided on a vanity plate for the split yet, Erich?--I recall you were asking for suggestions/opinions recently...

 I love that.
I remember seeing on the bumper of a tired old splitvan "the best things in life are'nt things'

Couple good stickers I saw recently:

"Wag more. Bark less."

"Honk if parts fall off."

And the one on my Jetta:

"Forget world peace. 'Visualize' using your turn signals."

"Visualize Whirrled Peas"

I had that one on my old Jolly Green Giant Bus.

Group,
Things are looking up. My night sweats have passed. Also, the fluid that I have to drain from my belly had reduced buy 700ml. That means the stomach cancer is not making as much.
I will keep you informed.
Erich

Erich- bleib' stark! My dad would tell me in difficult situations- "Halt' die Ohren steif!" (keep your ears stiff). From one recently married guy to another- let's stick around to keep our wives happy!

Well I got good news from my doctors today. They say I am doing well.
I am happy to hear that. My energy level is a little low but that is OK.
I just need to take one day at a time.
How are all you guys doing?

We are great down here Erich... plenty of positive energy mentally being sent your way still... lots more on tap... visualize our reserves and feel free to draw on them whenever you need.

My cat died... so you may have felt a little blip Saturday... but other than that... thinking positive for you as much as possible.

(She was a damn good kitty. Old age got her... she was 20.)
