Here is a pic of a 3 wheeler my Dad and I restored from the ground up. Found it in some guys barn after sitting for 15 years, needless to say it was totally rusted and in terrible condition. Everything was striped down and rebuilt. We also have another body we are going to modify to extreme and make a mold for bodies, the rear fenders have been widened 2 inches, extended in the front 4 inches, deck area has been extended 2 inches for motor clearance etc.
It is a blast to ride and very fast!
(Sorry about the crappy phone pix, will try to get better ones up after winter is over)
I painted the "real" flames, my Dad shot the pitch Black.
It has 1600 dual port motor w/ over sized jugs and cam, and a bunch of other engine mods. |

You've got a Rupp Tennar! Very cool, and in much better shape than my Centaur. What type of front end did you use? The triple tree is Rupp, but I don't see a front brake setup (required where I am). Can't wait to see the totally finished bike in the sun!

Thanx.......This was one originally owned by Mike it was in his barn!!!!
Yep...its a long story but Mike used to work for my Dad in a VW garage, so my Dad did some work on the original conversions...back in the late 70's early 80's.
The front end is pretty much all stock, just had everything re-chromed. Yes no front brake...LOL We keep a close eye on the back ones, and will probably go with disc at some point :)
I'll get some good pix up asap. |
