I was given 4 five bolt wheels and the adapter plates to install on my bug. I also got fiberglass inserts and the mold to make them.
What kind of wheels are these and why the fiberglass inserts?

The adapters use a common lug, so the 5 lug pattern is the same bolt circle as factory 4 lug. They must be 5x130 -Porsche pattern...
They're probably worthless.
How much you want for em? |

It doesn't look like Porsche 5x130 spacing.
I think Bryan nailed it... Pontiac, great for a type AM project  |

| Pontiac should be 5x4-3/4 (120.7mm as I figure it) not 5x130. Seriously, if those adapters use one of the bolt holes for the four-lug, then that's Porsche pattern. |

Good point, I hadn't looked at the adapters.
But I still think the rims are Trans Am snowflake |

There is 6 off-set lugs in the picture. They are not 5 X 130 Porsche. |

There are 8 holes in the adapters. There's a four-lug pattern and a five lug pattern -which SHOULD equal nine holes, except the two patterns share one common lug. If the four lug is 68+ aircooled beetle (4x130), then the five lug is 5x130. It's as simple as that. You can't have a common lug and one be 4x130 without the other being 5x130. Period.
Fools.
*Edit*
It works both ways. I mean, if that's a Trans Am Snowflake, then the four lug is 4x4-3/4 and they're not for a bug. |

if u view those pics at there full original size u can see that the 5 stud pattern is about 10mm smaller than the 4x130 bug pattern which fits the equation if theres trans am rims at 5x120.7
yes it uses one of the vw studs but if u study the pic closely u can see there are 6 double ended studs with one side offset so it lines up with the others |

| Everyone's right, those are T/A wheels. The adapters are for v-dub 4 on 130 to GM 5 on 4 3/4. I have the same ones on my baja. I have run this style of adapter many years (too many to count!) They work pretty good. I really don't like common stud that is offset. |
