Chain email I received today. The first one is cars, but the other are some cool old bikes.

Be sure to watch all the videos. They will play one after the other.

Sold the Harley a couple years ago, kinda wish I hadn't...kinda like how I wish I hadn't sold my beetle after the Harley came along...Kat still sets in the garage, waiting for me to ride it...

I almost bought a black Thruxton and they had a red one next to it That my better half said looked nice. The dealer rolled them both outside in the sun and the red one just popped. No regrets buying the red one but still have a thing for black bikes. 8)

So buy a thruxton and tell her it's better than catching you with a girl half your age. Worked for me.

Very Nice, those are fun bikes. Always liked the small 2 stroke bikes.

yes, sadly though the great 250's and 350's of the past are no longer available.
although not illegal to run sell own or buy here, Manufacturers no longer make such awesome little bikes.

all that is but one... the Aprilla RS 250, and the latest issue will be the last.

nezz Thu Aug 23, 2012 2:04 am

you have good taste, 2 stroke are the best!!!

My philosophy is more what you do with it rather than what you have.

Don't know if this had been mentioned yet, but I went to the motorcycle museum in Newburgh, NY last weekend - very impressive! Features a local's collection of Indians - at least one example for every year produced.

Mike Fisher Wed Sep 26, 2012 2:36 pm

Dave picked up some fenders from me and had this '37 Indian on-board to deliver to Long Beach.

Here's my daily driver (up until ice forms) and the bike I had for a month because I thought I was "mature" enough to own. I thought it best to sell before I either:
1. Lost my license
2. Lost my license
3. Died
4. Lost my license

My gas saver.... 2006 Yamaha FZ6. Picked it over the R6 after sitting on it. The bar/seat/peg triangle is way more comfortable, but it can still lean if I want to xnay the chicken strips. All of my buddies accused me of getting "the old man bike", but they are the ones bitching about their backs hurting after a long ride. :-k
