Plus, you need to add the other 10,000 meth heads living in North Dakota  |

Thanks Lind. Makes you wonder how the folks at the factory new to put safaris in the bus. Couldn't see them doing it at the Westfalia factory.
Bummer about the plate and vin. Put some paint stripper to the area where the holes should be. See if they were welded up. Good luck with the project, you guys are brave. |

mightymouse wrote: Id say, just get started on it. give it some love. get it on 4 correct wheels, clean it all up, start cutting out sheetmetal, and keep this thread updated. that energy being sent out, the VIN will pop up for sure. so many people on here, someone will see it and know where it went. you need to put up pics oh the field it was in also. where it sat etc etc.
later sick bus btw. dave
thanks Dave thats the plan... though I've got to finish my 63 first |

| Man Kris, you are a brave man, all I see when I look at that bus is rust and a cool paint color. Good luck on finding the missing still  Looks like you'll have your hands full for the next year-ish but if it looks as good as that other flipseat when your done, it'll be worth it...I used to have an old westy, oh man-those were the good ol' days. |

| Just broke the organic welds from the front axle, put the framehorn wheel on, and got the bus in the garage for it's light cosmetic session. Had to sacrafice this poor panel conversion for the greater good |

It's just sitting right now. After the '67 delux rubber is done I will start work. When you get a chance dont forget to send those measurements. |

| That will be an UNBELIEVABLE Bus when you get it back together. I would have liked to have had it for a parts bus for my 55 pg/sg flipseat westy hack I am building. |
