I had a Primavera 125 about 15 years ago for $300. If I ever get another it will be a Rally 180 or 200. Some say that once you ride a Lambretta you'll never go back to Vespa.

A buddy and I fixed up a 1950s Lambretta - what a blast to ride! I had a Vespa Primavera also, but sold it due to time/money issues a few years back. I'd love to get another one, but the prices are as ridiculous as split window bus prices!

Back in 92 I had a NSU Prima V with 700 miles on it, back then there was very little information on them "that I could find" so upon putting 300 or so miles on it "very nerve racking miles" I sold it, then the guy wants to sell it back to me because he relised at the time that parts and ect were hens-teeth.
I did install a Volkswagen part on it as a "TAG" the "Made in Germany" emblem that goes in late 50's bugs and buss-es.

I'll scan the picture's and submit them later, one is with my notchback at the time both Ruby Red.

That 65 Li125 was the same my dad had when I was growing up, its gone now but for some reason I'm still in possession of the cowl covers.

Didn't see this thread earlier before I started one similar. I own a mint og 67' SS180 and a newly restored 64' GS160.

The title of that video should be "The Worst/Most Annoying Irish Accent 2008". Nice Vespas... I've always wanted one of those.

Now you are talking bout one of my loves!

Here is me and the little lady on our wedding day in 2000.
1979 Vespa P200, 210 motor, mallossi aluminum cylinder kit, full circle crank, reed block intake, fully ported case, 30mm dellorto carb, cosa clutch, short 4th gear, later model rear axel (stronger shifting), light flywheel, Stainless Expansion Champer......

Anyway-its fun and fast! Stripped it down and custom/restored from the ground up.

I also have a 66' Super Sport-US version with round headlight, and '60 Allstate from original owner. Havent touched either one-been busy with kids and workin on the bug.!

Try your left hand for awhile, Lee. says it works wonders.

localboy Fri May 16, 2008 8:29 am

I just saw a video @ work of a guy riding similiar. A large truck obviously didn't see him. Under the front wheels...under the next set of wheels you can imagine...finally his body couldn't take it anymore and just exploded like a water balloon filled with blood. Really graffic...the lug nut rule strikes yet again.

No thanks...I like my life.
