With all the problems with online image hosting I was wondering if I could upload multiple pictures at the same time into the gallery?

I have been thinking about changing the Gallery to do this. The only issue would be people on non-high speed connections might have trouble if they try to upload too much at once.

Other opinions welcome.

That'd be awesome if you could do that.

I have always wondered if there was such a feature that was hidden, but that would be cool if you'd do that.

Could you make it as the default is one photo, but you could click on a bulk uploader if you choose to? Maybe that would help with people on slower connections.

I would love to have a bulk uploader. Part of the reason I haven't finished uploading pics from shows past was because it takes forever.

The bulk uploader option would be a great idea, That way if you want to upload just one photo you can still do so.

with a bulk uploader would you still be able to put the pics in different categories and have different descriptions?

The way it is now is that you can just upload more than 1 photo at once. All in the same category and all with the same description.

It helps if you have 5 pictures of the same car but not different stuff.

A Bulk Uploader would be very useful for the classifieds, too, if that's a practical option.

Just wondering...if you make it that easy to upload in bulk, won't someone upload a hundred photos at a shot without taking out the bad ones? Maybe there should be a limit, say, 5 at a time, that you can upload. Otherwise you may suddenly find your storage capacity maxed.

It will only be 5.

I do not want people uploading 100 photos at once, they would just put 99 of them into the wrong categories and with useless descriptions.

You are correct in that respect.. I mean having to go to a new drop down menu every time, and scroll and select, rather than being able to select them all at once from the same drop-down menu, using crtl for example. It's probably impractical now that I think about it, and I really have no reason to complain. If it aint broke, don't fix it. :wink:

Used it last night and works well, although it would be nice if when it rejects one of the photos in the set due to excessive size it could still upload the others. But that's a minor complaint.
