Just thought I'd post a few pics of the progress on Euro 67 project
The lights, they work!
the seat, with a passanger side FULL of 67 and type 3 shit
Oh did I mention I found these seats in an attic, they supposedly had been pulled out of a 66/67 bug in the 70's or 80's.
THE KPH speedometer dated 4/55 would be willing to trade for a 8/66 KPH speedometer

My full plans have been acheived, minus the front discs.
The Front clip is welded in, and looks like shit, there is a god aweful dip in the front, that I missed, I changed hoods in the middle of this, and I had it setup to the other hood, which will now be going on the car.
The motor for it is still in shortblock phase and the gearbox is comeing out for a full rebuild.
It has the correct VW1200/1300 reserve tap now, and I plan on buying the whole ignition unit brand new from Wolfsburg west.

Please Critize/comment. I need input for it's final stage, Oh and Yes I am rattle canning the car for now!!! I am not a rich feller, but the car will get a good full restoration a few years down the road. |
