I want to update my 87 cabriolet with a clipper kit, so it looks like an 88.
I located an 88 cab parts car at the junkyard with a complete stock clipper kit (plastic body/bumper kit).
Question: Will I need the metal bumpers that are under the 88's bumper covers too or will my existing 87's metal bumpers work if I remove the plastic molding parts?
The junkyard charges per item. Less is best and just being able to come home and bolt on would be heaven. But more is involved I'm sure. So all the help to get best prepared is very welcome.
Is this an easy install with little modifications? Any "how to" links w/ pix? |

| Just get the whole bumper assembly. It would be a lot easier. |
