Hi,
I agree, click on the "see all Samba banner ads" on the top right of your screen. (right above "Technical")
Most of the "heavy" hitters and best suppliers are listed there. If not, their loss, they should run an ad.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but the "reasonable price" thing probably means cheap?
There are a lot of people selling parts and a lot of the after market stuff is pure CRAP! Unfortunatly, this is most of the "reasonably priced" items.
If you are looking for good quality original equipment stuff, Wolfsburg West can get that job done. And they have one of the best and most useful web sites.
http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/
Mid America Motorworks has a big catalog and offers a lot of items. On most of their stuff the quality is O.K., but you pay for all those fancy catalogs they send you free in the mail.

CIP1 has just about whatever you want as far as after market. If you go to their web site you need to use the search finction. An awful lot of things don't come up if you just go to the listing tabs. They have reasonable prices, but they do sell a lot of the lower quality junk stuff as well as better quality items. You need to keep that in mind when ordering. Also, for us guys on the east coast, shipping times are fairly long from them. Usually takes a few days longer then other west coast suppliers.

| WW is really great. A little more expensive but well worth it. I'm building a 63 from the ground up, custom resto, and have purchased 95% of my parts from them. The other 5% I will end up replacing with stuff from WW. Every time I stray I regret it. |

Say goodbye to that muffler;its not going to last with your bug that low. I saved my cash and bought the A-1 sidewinder;perfect for lowered beetles
As for porta-walls,I don't like them;I would run polished EMPI's,BRM's or any other wide 5 wheel, but thats me... |

Looks great; I agree with Alan your muffler is gonna be road kill. If you can't get the hide-away exhaust you could just put a stock exhaust back on for a cheaper fix until you can get what you want.
That was one spline? I didn't get near that low with one for mine. |

| Did you check the rear wheel alignment after the lowering job? You have to reset the toe adjustment. |

I found mine on Ebay, you can also buy repops from BFYObsoleteparts.com, and other places. Do a search in classifieds. Look at my gallery, I mounted them using the bumper bolts. |
