I bought my first Bus yesterday!!! Its a 77 Westy (green, of course). Mostly original in good shape. Im so excited, I had to tell someone! I bought it from an ad here on TheSamba. The first thing Im going to do is slap on my TheSamba.com stickers!

Ok then grease the front axle beam, ball joints and center link bushing! check the brakes and the draglink and tie rod ends... safety first!

Congrats! Enjoy it, I have the same exact Westy.
Take good care of it. Get yourself into a local VW club (bus club if you can). Where are you located, maybe we can direct you to one.
