I'm going to look at a 77 in a few days, and i was told that because of the fuel injection it was a pain in the ass to work on. IT will be my first bus the the price is irresistable. Im looking forward to learning, but i still need to get around town. will this be a major problem?

Shouldn't be a problem, but it depends on where you live. Any mechanic that has a blanket policy of "Fuel Injection is Crap" should be avoided like the plague. The system is simple, reliable, and easy to fix. If you live in an area where you can find a decent mechanic that appreciates fuel injection then you are in luck. If you are mechanically inclined then you should be able to buy a Bentley Service Manual and do much of the work yourself. Even on the fuel injection. If your not mechanically inclined or not interested in learning then you should probably rethink the whole idea of buying a 25 year old vehicle. As the old saying goes, "Most people's fuel injection problems are not caused by the fuel injection." Good luck.
