Hi,
I have just bought this book and thought some of you may be interested.
It was printed on the 6th of December 1939 and appears to be a book of propaganda and information about the wonders of German Technology.
It has 232 pages and 11 of them are extolling the virtues of the Wonderful KDF.
The first and last pics are of the front and back cover.
Enjoy,

Early German Books and magazines always have the best KDF stuff. Speaking Of KDF,

I have been going thru a rather large stash of VW literature There are 30-40 pieces KDF related. I just posted a few scans of a few different items in the literature Gallery. I hope some one can tell me what some of this is. On the stamp book there are 3 different kinds Bob ??

There were "early" red/orange colored stamps and later green ones and there could be insurance stamps (black, if I remember) on the back side. If you have a combination of red and green stamps then maybe that the stamps were purchased during the transition period or that the buyer could not afford to complete that book until after the stamps changed color.............so Ed, it is possible to have three different stamps on one book.........(usually book #5 and probably a red book and not a blue one.......)

I love the book, I just wish I could speak German. Its full of tit-bits about the war and little cartoons and poems too. All propaganda.

any graphic design geeks that know what font most of that is written in?
I never knew kdf cars had centre exit exhausts, I don't know much about much though but I thought it looked cool anyway. I like the cutaway picture

Anyone have a picture of the stamps, I go to antique shops and always see German stamps and WW II paraphernalia and always wonder if I have overlooked them, ( although I highly doubt I would run across any in the states)

I doubt you would have passed them up because a sillouette of a beetle is the center of the design........ I have seen the red/orange ones and the green ones but never the insurance stamps. Bob, I think in previous posts you said the insurance stamps are blue?
