| i have a buddy who is the owner of a 2003 25th aniversary gti, number 7 of 3000. it has rearco seats, and a 6-speed. im interested in learning more about this car. i was told the first 10 were only sold in europe, but i cant put any sort of fact to that. im trying my danged-est to keep his old lady from trading it in on a civic. the dealerships only wanna give her 5000 for it, but im not gonna let that happen. please help!?!?! |

| Is there something specific you want to know about the car? They were a special edition for the USA, so I doubt any were sold in Europe. They have their own special models over there. $5000 is quite a low ball number for a car that new. |

| just trying to find out if the first 10 were actually only sold in europe...cause nunmber 7 would be gravy, and boost the cars value... |

| Well, they did have a 25th anniversary edition in Europe, and here we had the 20th, since we got the GTI five years later. If it really is a 25th, then it would be a Euro version, and unique to the States. |
