Putting in the time off from work this week and I need to know the dates. I'm assuming it's gonna be the 6th, 7th and 8th of June judging from the bugorama promotions website stating that the classic is on the 8th.

Any news? Same place?

A bunch of SBS guys are talking about making the trip from cali to florida for the big weekend out there. I would love to chat with you about the trip at blackstar!!!

I feel i must Step to the Plate.... We are in heated negotiations with Blackstar …. It is not 100% confirmed but we are at about 85 % she has not said yes yet…. But it is looking good… we do have Irvine Lake as a Hot stand by so the show will go on.

We will keep you posted....

No I'm not going to Bakersfield. The SBS is having a big get together and its for one of the members B-day, otherwise I would be at bakersfield. I love that show, great for the kids. I will be at featherly park though are you guys going to that?

Yup we will be camping. I've never done the featherly thing but I'm hoping to be able to show up friday night and use it as base camp for the weekend.

Tentative Schedule of events for BLACKSTAR
Events for 2008
1. Friday night Bar-B-Q (cooking starts at 4:30ish to be served by 5:30pm hosted by VTOBUSMAN)
2. Raffle (Friday night 7:00pm)
3. Texas-Hold em (Friday Night 8.pm)
4. Band (From 8:30ish til …..)
5. OCTO SHOW (early am wakeup call 4:30 am caravan leaves at 515am please gas up before hand there will be no gas stops)
6. Kids events start 5:00pm (See Disco Bev for more info)
7. Dutch Oven cook-off (Saturday afternoon to be served at 6:00 pm)
8. Raffle (Saturday at 7pm)
9. Band (From 8:30ish til …..)
10. ADULT RAFFLE (Late Saturday night)
11. Long Distance award
12. Best Camp Site
13. Kids custom jumper available all weekend
After all that we will be back at black star for a little partying, there will be a raffle that night we ask that you let the kids go to sleep before the raffle because it will most likely be adult themed those of you who have been their know... Also if you have anything to donate to any of the raffles’ please bring them, this year all proceeds will go to The Make A Wish Foundation. Thank you for your support, without you guys none of this is possible.

Park Rules:
1. All dogs must be leashed and picked up after
2. No vehicles allowed to park on or block park roads
3. No vehicles allowed on any fire roads,trails,or off roading at any time
4. All minors must be under adult supervision at all times
5. Speed limit must be obeyed at all times.(5 mph within the park and 10 mph on Baker Canyon road)
6. No off road vehicles allowed on park property.(including but not limited to:motorcycles,ATV’s,Quads and scooters ect..)
7. Quiet time is from 9pm – 7am
8. No weapons of any kind will be permitted
9. Campfires are not permitted except in designated areas and as per weather conditions.
10. When permitted campfires must be in a above ground approved fire pit
11. All camp stoves must be above ground
12. No loud music
