Just got back, to SoCal (still have a plane to catch), from a few days out at Havasu decompressing after the VTO Black Star cornerstone / OCTO Summer Weekend.

Another fine weekend of events put on by some very fine folks.

Black Star , or Cornerstone if you will, was a lot more intimate in my eyes with the project bus going full bore and the majority of campers on the grassy knoll and all. It was like a bee hive and it seemed as though everyone was on the same thought pattern for the most part... FUN!!!

OCTO was pretty badass.

Met some of The Samba chat gang for the first time and would like to thank Krusher for giving Will a.k.a. Hubby a ride out to the Classic so he could #1 catch his ride home but also ride in that awesome barndoor and SEE the whole Classic deal. I think Will was a bit stoked... a wee bit.

VEEEEEETEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOoooooo .... you people know how. MAHALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and...big THANKS to Cornerstone (THE BAND) for putting up with me gussin' them. That was a highlight for me.

Ok guys here is an update...

i got the motor from blodgets and the hubby him self came down to help paint the engine time, we have pressure washed and scrubbed he engins compartment...

here are some photos and i wll post more as we complete the work
