Now that summer is coming up and the grass will need to be mowed. What or who cuts your lawn. Do you push or ride? I`ve got and old wheel horse that I just can`t seem to kill. It has a 14hp kohler engine that not only cuts the grass but can plow a garden to. I`ve had it for 10 years now and it still going strong. Can you still find them like this anymore or are the new ones just junk? Heres a picture not mine but just like it.

That looks to be a 60+" cut at less. Nice

I've got a John Deere with a 16hp Kohler and it's damn sure a hard core workin' machine. I've got 5 acres that I keep mowed, or did until the tornado, and it's only needed a starter solenoid over the past 6 years.

My piece of shit. I sold it this morning, a couple of sheep are easier/cheaper to maintain and do a better job.

I bought a Craftman LT1000 3 years ago. 18hp and 46" cut. It had to have a new carb put on it early last year, but it was still under warranty. It's out of warranty now, so I'm sort of worried about it. I thought it was a decent sized tractor when I bought it, but it won't take any of the other implements that they offer. You need one of the 22hp with the 23" or larger rear tires to use their sleeve hitch and any implements. Next time, I'll buy a Kubota BX24 and be able to do much more. Of course, it'll cost more, but I think it'll be worth it.

My riding lawn mower after I got into a serious accident and rolled it down a hill 17 times. I could also post this up in the missing digits thread...

I was buckled in, I had no real way to tell besides how many times my head hit the ground.

in this concrete jungle that i live in, i merely have a crapola push lawn mower that my monster in law gave us when we bought the house after moving out of the condo. it takes me about 15 minutes to mow and use the edge/weedwacker on the lawn here. It is a joke compared to what i was used to growing up.

This mo fo goes like 12mph and I can cut my lawn beginning to end in 1 hr (5 acres are grass).

I love this thing.
