I see a lot of "Any (your state here) folks here?"
How about a state by state semi-sticky (can you add to a sticky?)?
Members can add their names/tags, whatever, to their state sticky.
Then when someone wants to know if there are any members for their state can just look under that state.
If someone wants to localize it by adding to the Ohio sticky "Akron folks here", so be it.
Just an idea. |

Sticky is a normal thread that anyone can add to.
We don't want 50 stickies though for each state. |
