i got a hot date lined up for this friday... feb 22... anyways as usual i asked
her what she wanted to do and i get this response.. "ummm i dont know"
#-o #-o darn she's not going to help... and ofcoarse i did not have any
other suggestions than the typical movie....... so im looking for a fun
idea for a date.... this will be our "first" date together i say first because it
will but the first time together will out anyone else with...... so anyone
got ideas..
besides the movie idea i thought
go carts (most likely to cold here in IL)
bowling (kind of awkward with only 2 people)
a romantic walk in the local state park (too cold again)
Thanks in advance....... |

If your avatar is a correct representation, then you're not equipped to date in IL. Sell that buggy and get yourself a Westy ;). Install a dvd player and it's the perfect date.
Take a drive in the country. Park in a nice spot. Make some hot chocolate (and pop some corn). Then watch a video :). Heaven! |

hotel room? aren't you the big spender! i was thinking truckstop bathroom.
dinner at a nice place where you can talk. if that goes well, then a movie or out dancing, or a romanticwalk. by the end ofdinner you should know how to prceed. |

dam you guys are a riot.... lol yes maybe a westy movie idea would be cool.. and dinner and movie is classic... and as far as a hotel room welll that would be taking it wavvyyyy to fast (super troppers lol) .... lol
btw i dont think im going to sell the buggy anytime soon.... havent even had a chance to drive it yet!! but is it buggy or girl ummm well thats why it has taken me like 6 years to complete the buggy lol
and everyone can run out of ideas... (and i did mention a few up top but mirrorly was looking for better ones) |

Is there a comedy club near by? What about a jazz restaurant?
Even thou, you may think bowling is akward with 2- I have found it a good time..thou, my wife and I have been together almost 12 yrs, for the past several yrs. we head to Chicago for our anniversary and hang out. Two years ago, we went to the Bowling lanes in Marina City- They play videos, serve martinis, etc. and it was actually a really good time. |

A Church potluck supper is appreciated by most young ladies.
Never be totally alone with her. Too many temptations. |

i live in near aurora il... (western burbs of chi-town i guess.....) it rained like a shit load and melted all of the snow..... so i figure ice skating would be out... (plus i cant really skate with the 4 wheeled indoor cousin of it... ) lol
btw i think sleding would have been fun... go sleding, have a snow ball fight, maybe "tackle" her during the fight...... then go and get some hot chocolate after wards and throw in a movie.... sounds good but one problem the FUCKING SNOW!! lol
as far as a pot luck meal i really dont attend church.... so ya.. that wouldnt work out.... i have never been raised to go to church......
anyways thanks for the ideas guys..... keep em coming..... still not sure what we are going to do... |

NICE lol but this is our FIRST date and as weird as it sounds i would like a decent relationship.....
(last one was great with loads of nookie but then she turned into a neigherhood pool rider... well basically :o :o )
and as far as having her cook for you..... "well thats soooo romatic of you" lol i would suggest if dinner was to be made that to spice it up either you cook or both help out and do it as a team.... builds bonding as a team and or if you cook it shows her that you can and that your not some lame brain that expects her to do everything.......... |

forget about the movie - you'll be watching movies with her for decades if things go well -
drive around the city, favorite resteraunt, LSD in the winter, hancock building for drinks, skating in Grant Park (should still be going), art museum, Michigan Ave, etc...
second date: Feb 29: http://chicagocriticalmass.org/ <- gauranteed good time |
