I started painting the bottom of the pan with POR-15. It is super easy to apply and dries rock hard, just like advertised. It will take a couple of days to finish up the painting, but once that is done it will be time to work on the cage.

I finally got the bender mounted on a stand and the hydraulics hooked up, which has made bending a whole lot more enjoyable. The tubes that run along the bottom of the pan from torsion to torsion have been bent and fitted, but not welded in. Need to flip the pan over and paint where the tubes will lie since those areas will not be paintable with the tubing in place.

Here is the pan after the first coat. It is still wet and a little bit shiny.

The body lift is also getting painted.

The dullish spot was painted the previous night. Once the POR-15 is dry, the shine is gone and the surface is really smooth and rock-hard.
