I am doing my first spring cleaning of my 69 deluxe and was wondering if anyone has a good trick for cleaning and polishing that area in the rear engine cooling vent behind those horizontal grills. I want to use a polishing compound back there, and thought a rag tied to a stick would work, but I am sure someone out there in Samba land has a better idea.

| .....and I squirt castrol super clean through the vents and let it soak and loosen the junk up before I scrub. Just make sure you don't loose your gloves when using it or you will loose alot of skin. |
